Entry Six: Spring – Year 847 of the 4th Age.<\/p>\n
Hey Tim, how are you? Bored? Want to hear a story from when I was a young young lass? Of course you do, you’re a figment of my imagination. You want whatever I want you to want.<\/p>\n
Anyway, this was back before I joined the guild. I was 5 or 4 or 6 or something, whatever. I was known as… well, I wasn’t known. I don’t think I even understood the concept of names back then. The memory is a bit hazy. It’s the earliest memory I have, or rather the first worth remembering.<\/p>\n
I was just hanging around the streets, doing the orphan thing that orphans tend to do. This woman came up to me. She was in the shadows, well, more like she was<\/strong> the shadows. It was amazing. This may be 13 years of my mind embellishing its own memories, but I swear I saw her face for a split second. A beautiful Neko woman. She left such an impression on me. I sort of hero-worshiped her for a long while after that, so how much of this is true is up for debate. Anyway, she was Kuroth’s Champion and she recruited me into the guild. It was astounding, her will was like an extension of Kuroth’s. It was like I was chosen by him. I was put into training as one of his clerics soon after. I’m not sure how often they take in kids of the street, but I guess when the Champion herself brings them in they assume the child will be worth the effort. I don’t think I’ve really payed off that debt..<\/p>\n Anyway, I haven’t seen her again since. I’ve heard rumors though. She is strong and never backs down from a fight. She is everything I am not. I wish to be more powerful. Powerful enough where I can be of any use to her. It is thanks to her I was fed, and educated. I owe her everything I’ve ever had, including my life. Who knows? Imagine if she didn’t find me. I would either be dead or have ended up in some orphanage. Healing is in my bones, so I think I would have then ended up as a cleric of Quercitrin. Can you imagine that? Awful, just awful. I would have looked up to Ms. Shere or something instead. Ugh, I don’t even want to think about how that would have gone..<\/p>\n Well, that wasn’t much of a story, but there you go. I wonder if I’ll ever meet her again. I wouldn’t know what to say. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Excuse me Ms. Champion. You don’t know me but you’re my favorite person ever.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d I don’t want to seem like some creepy stalker. Although she wouldn’t think so. If someone was stalking her, she would know. She is unbelievably skilled. I’ll never be like her, I can’t even get one stupid sword. Enough self loathing. That also isn’t like me. What is with me lately? Too much stress, not enough sleep, I guess. Time to go to bed then. See if I can get any sleep knowing creepy Tulock’s prying eyes are about. Oh gods, did I seriously just make that pun? Ugh….forgive me, I’m tired.
